NASCAR racing is back on track in the world of new video games. After two seasons without an official licensed game, racing games hit the accelerator this season with NASCAR The Game 2011. The just-released game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is great news for the sport and its fans, according to NASCAR driver Joey Logano who is one of the drivers featured in the game.

Logano, who drives the No. 20 GameStop/Sport Clips Toyota in Nationwide races for Joe Gibbs Racing says that he thinks it's really cool to be featured in the game, and that it's an important way to promote the sport. The main strategy behind the game's development was to make the player feel as if they are racing in a pack of cars, to simulate real NASCAR conditions of battling a swarm of other cars around a track.
