The U.S. Supreme Court recently brought an end to California's Violent Video Games Law. The violent video games law was rejected with seven out of the nine panel justices in agreement. This comes as great news for every admirer of video games even though the politicians are still trying hard to defame video games.
Previously the U.S. Supreme Court somewhat agreed to rule on a Californian law that was meant for putting restrictions on sales of violent video games to minors. The recent decision of court clearly reflects that video games are looked upon as literary aids used for story telling very much similar to books, movies and plays. The developers of video games are ecstatic with the decision.
California was the seventh state in the U.S. which tried to regulate video games but it failed badly in its attempt, just like the other states.

A series of tests and tasks revealed that the participants who played violent video games were found to be more aggressive compared to the participants who played non-violent violent games. The study reveals that the brains of the people who habitually play violent games are less responsive to violence which in turn increases aggression.
